Purchasing Goods and/or Services From Artisanaworks Represents Customer Acceptance and Agreement to Terms of Use, Conditions and Policies Below.


Privacy Policy / Security
Artisanaworks Requires of It’s Customers Only the Personal and Cardholder Information Necessary to Securely Process and Ship an Order.  Transactions are Processed Through Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), Secure Server, Authorized Verifying Cardholder Address (AVS) and Available Funds.  Artisanaworks Maintains a Safe and Secure Site(s) Compliant with Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards, Verified by an Industry Approved Scanning Vendor. No Record of Credit Card  Information is Kept on the Website nor Our Computers.  Only the Owner, and Her Assistant View Your Information in the Normal Course of Filling and Shipping Orders.  Artisanaworks will not Use, Disclose, Store, Sell, or Disseminate any Cardholder Information, Except for Purposes of Authorizing, Completing and Settling Card  Transactions.  However, Your Information May be Requested by a Court, Subpoena, or Government Agency and We Would Comply With These Requests.

Shipping / Handling / Insurance / Delivery / International
Shipping:  Orders Currently Ship via USPS or Most Reliable and Cost Effective Carrier. Standard Shipping is by First Class, Parcel Post/Ground, Though We are Happy to Accommodate any Advance Request for Expedited Service.  We Do Not Ship Using Customer Accounts.  Shipping Charges are not Included in the Price of Merchandise.  Due to the Variety of Unique Products Available on Our Site, Eight Shipping Regions, and Ever Changing Carrier Charges, Automated and Exact Shipping Costs Can Not Be Configured in Advance. We Make a Conscientious Attempt to Keep Costs Down, with the Use of the Smallest Box Possible. We are “Green” Shippers Whenever Possible, So, Your Item May Arrive in a Pre-Used/Recycled Box.   We Admit That it May Not be Gorgeous, But We Care About Reducing Our Impact on the Environment, and at the Same Time, Lowering Your Shipping Cost!  Shipping to a Commercial Address May Save on Your Shipping Cost.  Keep in Mind That the Shipping Cost on Small Ticket Orders May be Relatively High, and Occasionally May Equal or Exceed the Cost of the Merchandise.

Handling Fees:  These are Charged on Top of the Carrier Charges, and Include, but are not Limited to: Minimal Charges for Packing Supplies, Packing, In-House Processing, Transport to Local P.O. (if Shipped USPS).  Fees Charged the Merchant by the Credit Card Industry for Customer’s Credit Card Payment of Shipping Charges (Authorization Fees, Cart Fees, Per Transaction Fees, Access Fees, and Credit Card Issuing Bank and Credit Card Processor Charges) will be Added to the Base Carrier Cost for Shipping.  We Only Attempt to Cover Our Costs, Here.

Insurance:  Most  Shipments are Insured in Transit; All Orders Shipped with Confirmation of Delivery, or Tracking.

Delivery:  Customer’s Shipping Charges Receipt is Sent via Email, and will State the Date Your Order is Given to the Carrier for Shipment and Delivery. Ship Receipts are Also included with the Order When Possible. Tracking Numbers Provided Upon Request.  Customer will  Inform Artisanaworks if Certain Delivery Dates are Not Desired. Artisanaworks is More Than Happy to Accommodate You.  Shipments to Third Parties or to an Address Other Than Bill To Address, may Require Signature Upon Delivery. Signature is Required By USPS on Orders Over $200.00;  Other Carriers Also Have Similar Requirements.  Please be Advised that Customer or Other Must Sign for Delivery of Larger Ticket Orders.  Customer Will Respond Promptly to any “Attempt to Deliver Notice”.  Should Untimely or Lack of Response to Such Notice by Customer Lead to the Return of Order to Artisanaworks, Customer is Responsible for Payment of Original Shipping Charge, Re-Route/Return Transit Costs, Second Attempt Shipping Charges, and any and all Necessary Repackaging, and Handling Fees.

International Orders:  Artisanaworks Adheres to Federal Restrictions Regarding Bans and Embargos.  Customer will not Order Items Banned by the “Ship To” Country, nor Order Goods Shipped to a Country with US Embargo Status.  A Customs Form Fee will Apply.  Ship To Name and Address Must be Same as Bill To Name and Address.  No Cancellations, Returns, Exchanges, Store Credits on Orders Placed or Shipped Outside the USA.  Payment of Duties, Fees, Taxes, and Tariffs are the Responsibility of Customer.

Customer Understands Artisanaworks Makes a Conscientious Attempt to Keep Shipping Costs to a Minimum, and in Placing an Order, Authorizes Artisanaworks to Charge Customer Shipping/Handling/Insurance to Facilitate Timely  Delivery of Their Purchase, and to Charge Customer’s Credit Card Without Prior Presentation or Notice to the Customer of Exact Shipping/Handling Cost Total.  For Inquiries, Please Email or call Toll Free 1-877-441-5509.

Prior to Ordering:  Customer Satisfaction is a Priority of Artisanaworks.  We Strive Toward a Positive Shopping Experience.  Carol Tate, dba Artisanaworks Offers Very Well Crafted, Hand Made Products and has Made Every Attempt to Represent Items with Clarity, Detail, and Color Matching.  Monitor Settings Differ.  If Color is of Concern, Fabric Sample Snips May be Available to Aid in Your Decision to Order.  Artisanaworks is Eager to Assist the Customer With a Well Informed, Good Decision Purchase.  Have Questions About Size? Color? Content?  Just Ask.  These are Questions You Might Ask Yourself:

  • What are My Measurements?  Will They Work With the Measurements of the Item I am Considering?
  • Are the Colors Right for My Sofa?  Will This Size Pillow be the Right Scale? Right Flavor?  Do I Understand the Difference Between “Seam to Seam” Size and “Visual” Size?
  • Will a 16” Necklace Work With My Fat Neck, or Do I Need a Longer Necklace?
  • Do I Know That This Item Will Work for Me?  That I Will be Ecstatic When it Arrives?

Customer Agrees to Take all Steps Necessary to Avoid Frivolous Returns/Exchanges and to Call or Email Carol Tate, Artisanaworks With Any and All Questions, and Request Fabric Samples (if Applicable) Prior to Ordering.  Customer Will Not Place an Order for an Item(s) Unless all His/Her Questions Have Been Answered and He/She is Reasonably Assured the Purchase will be Suitable and an Excellent Decision.

Ordering / Payment Options:  All Sales are in U.S. Funds

A Shopping Cart is Available for Online Ordering.  At Check-out You are Taken to the Secure Server, and SSL Encryption Ensures the Privacy and Security Necessary to Protect Your Personal Information.  We Accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AmEx Credit Cards.
A Toll-Free Number is Available (Within the USA) for Ordering Custom Made Products, or Providing Cardholder Information. In Addition to Credit Cards, Personal or Company Checks Drawn on U.S. Banks Only, and U.S. Postal Money Orders are Accepted.   Checks Must Fully Clear Prior to Shipping.  Should a Check be Returned for Any Reason, or a Credit Card Transaction be Declined Due to “Over Limit”, a Fee May be Assessed and Payable by Customer. 

Order Receipts:  Receipts are Automatically Generated, and Sent  via Email.  A Receipt will Also Accompany Parcel.

Credit Card Statement:  Artisanaworks is the Company Name and Offers Products Through Artisanaworks.com.  “Artisanaworks” will Appear on Your Credit Card Statement, Along With Our Toll-Free Number:  877 441-5509 USA.

NOTE:  If Customer Fails to Recognize What Was Purchased, or Has a Question or Dispute, He/She will, Without Delay, Contact/Call Artisanaworks. 1-877-441-5509.   International:  Please Email.   Artisanaworks Reserves the Right to Impose a Fee or Fees, Payable by Cardholder to Cover Time and Expenses Incurred by Artisanaworks due to Failure of Cardholder to Contact Merchant.  See Disputes and Questions, Below.

Sales Tax:  Is Automatically Added to Product as well as Shipping Charges for Residents of Texas, Only.  If Purchase is for Resale, a Tax Exempt Sales and Use Tax Number and Resale Certificate Must be Furnished.

Cancellations:  Any and All Requests for Cancellation of an Order(s) Must be Made to Carol Tate, Artisanaworks Within One Hour (1) of the Time Order was Placed, and No Later. No Order Cancellations will be Granted on Custom Order Merchandise nor Orders Which Have Been Packaged and Shipped.  Non Custom Order Cancellation Requests Received Within the Required Time Frame and Which Have been Packaged and Pending Shipment will be Subject to a Handling Fee(s), Payable by Customer.

Disputes and Questions:  All Disputes Regarding Product Must be Received by Artisanaworks Within 3 (three) Calendar Days of Receipt of Merchandise.  Billing Questions Must be Received Without Delay.  Customer will Contact Merchant, ARTISANAWORKS FIRST Concerning any Dispute or Question, and To Include Failure to Recognize the Charge.  Customer will Only Contact the Credit Card Services Issuing  Bank or the Number(s) on the Reverse of His/Her Card Should the Issue Not be Resolved FIRST With the Merchant, Artisanaworks.  Artisanaworks Reserves the Right to Impose a Fee or Fees, Payable by Cardholder to Cover Time and Expenses Incurred by Artisanaworks due to Failure of Cardholder to Notify the Merchant First.

Returns:  Defective Merchandise Will Not be an Issue With Items Purchased From Artisanaworks. Customer’s Request for Return Must be Made Within 3 Calendar Days of Confirmation of Delivery Date of Merchandise to Customer. Return Request Must be Made by Cardholder or Original Purchaser.  Customer will  be Emailed a Return Request Form.  Customer Must Complete and Return to Artisanaworks Within Three (3) Calendar Days of Date Emailed to Customer.

Any and All Return of Item(s) Originally Purchased From Artisanaworks Must be Pre Authorized.  Authorization for Return is at the Sole Discretion of Carol Tate, Owner, Artisanaworks, Who will Consider Return Requests on an Individual Basis.  If Authorized, Customer will be Sent a Return Merchandise Authorization #.  It will Include Packaging and Shipping Requirements for Safe and Timely Transit.  The RMA# Must Accompany Return, and Must be Received by Artisanaworks Within 12 Days of RMA# Issuance.  If Return is Denied, Customer will Receive a Return Request Denial Form with Reasons for the Denial.

Credit will be Issued or Denied After Inspection of Returned Item(s), and Subject to Customer Compliance with all Terms, Conditions, Requirements, and Timeliness, and Subject to Eligibility of Merchandise for Return.  Credit for Any and All Returned Item(s) will be in the Form of In-Store Credit and Exchange for Another Item(s) Offered Through Artisanaworks.com.  Credit May also be Applied To Shipping/Handling/Insurance/Processing of the Replacement Item(s).  No Monetary/Cash Refunds nor Credit Card Credits Issued for Returns.

Customer Understands That in Returning any Item(s),  He/She is Responsible for Assuming Original Total Shipping Charges and Return Shipping Costs of  Item(s) Authorized for Return. Customer Agrees to Adhere to all Return Requirements and Time Tables in Order to be Eligible for Exchange Credit / Store Credit.

No Returns will be Authorized, No Exchanges, and No Credit Given for the Following, and in Regard to Merchandise Purchased from Artisanaworks, and with Regard to All Terms, Conditions, and Calendar Day Requirements:  Custom Made, Made to Order Merchandise, Sale Merchandise, Damaged, Soiled, Worn,   Laundered, Merchandise, Return Requests Deemed Frivolous, Items Not Pre-Authorized for Return, Items Returned With No RMA#, When Request for Return is Made by Persons Other Than Cardholder Or Customer, Request for Return is Not Received by Artisanaworks Within 3 Calendar Days of Confirmed Delivery of Merchandise to Customer, Completed Return Request Form is Not Emailed to and Received by Artisanaworks Within 3 Business Days of Receipt by Customer, Merchandise That Has Been Authorized for Return and Issued an RMA# Has Not Been Received by Artisanaworks Within 12 Calendar Days of Delivery of RMA#  to Customer, When Customer Fails to Adhere to Packaging and/or Insurance Requirements in Shipping Return Merchandise to Artisanaworks,  Merchandise Customer Claims to Have Shipped, Claims Was Lost in Transit,  and for Which Customer is Unable to Provide Proof of Shipment and /or for Which Customer is Unable to Provide Proof that Insurance was Purchased for Full Value of Item During Transit, International Orders, and No Credit Issued for Original Shipping Charges, Shipping Costs of Return of Original Item(s) to Artisanaworks

Exchanges / Store Credit:  Store Credit will be Valid for 1 (one) Year From Date of  Issuance.  Replacement Merchandise Purchased With Store Credit, Together with Shipping Charges for Such Must be of Same or Greater Value Than Dollar Amount of Store Credit.  Store Credit or Balance of Store Credit Will Not be Redeemed for Cash, nor Credited to Credit Card Used for Original Purchase.

Return Shipping:  Customer Must Pack Professionally to Avoid Damage, Insure for Full Value, Send via Trackable Means to Designated Address,  Include RMA# With Package, and Pay Return Shipping Costs.  Customer Must Retain Proof of Return Shipping and Insurance.   Artisanaworks Must be in Receipt of Authorized Returned Item(s) Within Twelve (12) Calendar Days of Delivery of RMA# to Customer.  Customer Agrees to Notify Artisanaworks of Date of Return Shipment and Carrier via Email.
