Master Woodcarver, Wayne Jarvis Captures the True Character of the Shar Pei in this Small, Hand Crafted Sculpture.  It's an Art to Bring to Life a Figure, and Especially Considering that he Worked Mainly From Two Dimensional Photographs of His Subjects.  He Liked Working with Walnut and Butternut for His Hand Carved Art Work.  The Shar Pei is Probably Carved from the Wood of the Walnut Tree.
